Purnell's Wellness Program is an innovative series of seminars in which students explore health, decision-making, self-awareness, community living, and success. Each grade level incorporates instruction in health topics, including fitness and nutrition, substance awareness, and personal and sexual health. In addition, 10th grade focuses on resilience, stress management, and team building. The 11th grade focuses on leadership and also completes a campus-wide project focused on improving the overall health of the entire school community.
Wellness seminars are offered in conjunction with the grade-based seminars, which also comprises affinities, diversity, and college counseling seminars.
