An Opportunity to DOUBLE OR TRIPLE your Annual Fund gift to Purnell!
To demonstrate how important Purnell's alumnae are to its mission, an anonymous donor will contribute up to $10,000 a year, over the next four years, to inspire alumnae support as we begin to approach Purnell's 50th Anniversary in 2015! Join the next generation of alumnae who are committed to ensuring the success of Purnell's future graduates. Join the challenge and support a student.
Every gift is an expression of pride and gratitude and alumnae are the face of Purnell's future. Make a gift online, see it double or triple, and then add your photo and share your reason for giving. We will continue to collect photos and stories of our generous alumnae through Purnell's 50th Anniversary as a reflection of the true spirit of Purnell.
All Alumnae Classes:
The Purnell New Alumnae Giving Challenge means that if this is your first gift to Purnell ever (or at least since 2008), your gift (up to $250) will be matched 2:1. So your first ever gift of $25 turns into $75 for Purnell or a gift of $250 turns into $750 for Purnell!
The Decade Club: Class of 2002-2012
If you are a member of the Decade Club and this is your first gift ever to Purnell, your gift will be matched 2:1. So your first ever gift of $25 turns into $75 for Purnell.
If you are a member of the Decade Club and made a gift last year to Purnell your gift will be matched 1:1. So your gift of $25 turns into $50 for Purnell.
Additionally, if you are a Decade Club member and you continue your support over the next four years, your continued commitment will be recognized at Purnell's 50th Anniversary (June 2015) and $500 will be given in your honor towards Purnell's "Decade Club Fund for Financial Aid", providing girls with opportunities they never thought possible.
So you have some questions...
How do I know if I am eligible? All Purnell alumnae are eligible for the New Alumnae Giving Challenge if you have not made a gift to Purnell in the last three years.
If you are a member of the Decade Club you are eligible for either: The New Alumnae Giving Challenge or the Recurring Gift Challenge.
Make your gift before June 30, 2013 and we will let you know if you are eligible for either of these matches.
Why give? Purnell has helped you in numerous ways, some of which you may just be beginning to see. Wouldn't you like to help another girl find her place too? We know you feel a sense of community and may be deciding what organizations and causes you should support. We hope that helping future students become leaders will be among your philanthropic priorities. Please support Purnell.
How much should I give? The answer is different for each person, but the collective power of everyone is what makes the difference. Gifts between $1 and $250 could be matched and it will make an impact. Of course, gifts larger than $250 make a significant impact too and are greatly appreciated.
Where does the money go? The Annual Fund supports the here and now. Your gift goes toward the most immediate needs of the faculty and students this year. Think of your favorite class, teacher, friend, place on campus. Because of past alumnae contributions, these buildings, programs, and people were possible. Help us continue a strong tradition of giving back.
