About the Book
Purnell President Jenifer M. Fox's first book, entitled Your Child's Strengths: Discover Them, Develop Them, Use Them and published by 
Viking, is in bookstores now following its February 28 release. In the book, Fox argues that an intentional and systematic focus on children's strengths rather than their deficits will lead to happier, more productive, more engaged kids both in school and at home. Using Purnell as an example, she demonstrates how to create school environments which intentionally illuminate and capitalize on student strengths. The book also contains a workbook for families and a summary of Purnell's award winning Affinities Program.
