On May 30th, 2008, Purnell held its 41st Commencement Ceremony, graduating 36 seniors. At 11am family, faculty and friends gathered under a tent in the Quadrangle of Purnell School to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2008. Purnell President Jenifer M. Fox addressed the gathering on the topic of shifting one's perspective on weaknesses and looking for strengths instead. Senior Rachel Jiang spoke on behalf of the senior class.
