Project Exploration Features Original Musical February 25, 2008
Purnell's annual project based learning period, Project Exploration, includes in depth work in martime studies, teaching, trips to Zambia and France and many other exciting offerings. This year it also includes an original musical production. Performing Arts Department Chair Leslie Burns Patient (book and lyrics) and music teacher Jamee E. Guerra (music and additional lyrics) have collaborated to create BUGZ: The Buzzical for this year's Project Exploration. In conjunction with Project Exploration Showcase, performances will be held on March 13th and 14th at 8:00PM and March 15th at 2:00PM at Purnell's Carney Center for the Performing Arts.
