Sports offer a meaningful way to learn and grow outside of the classroom. They can be used to build important skills like teamwork, respect and leadership.
Through our LifeSports program, we’ll provide you with regular exposure to a variety of all-inclusive sports. During your freshman and sophomore years, you’ll be introduced to a variety of life sports, including hiking, golf, movement, tennis, fly-fishing, and snow sports.
At the beginning of your junior year, you’ll identify one life sport on which to focus and participate more fully in understanding that sport, including studying the history of women in the sport and how to purchase equipment. You’ll include your learning in a self-study portfolio.
Finally, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor younger students during your senior year as you share what you have learned from your chosen life sport.
